April so far

Well I know it seems like I am posting about nothingness lately. . . and I guess I am really, but my sweet husband brought home a new camera for me this last month ( and I haven't had one for over a year) so i'm kind of playing catch up on the boys! They are going to be so sick of the camera in another month or two but o well!! They'll get over it and i'm sure they'll thank me someday!

The other day we walked to breakfast with a couple friends and when we got home the boys were hot and wanted to play in some water! So rather than go down to the pool we just gave them some water to play with on the back porch! They loved it!

So this is how I found the boys today while cleaning! I thought it was so cute!!


And then once I told Bryce I was taking pictures he wanted to be closer to Raef

First off, can I just say that I have some incredibly handsome little boys! I love these little guys so much!


(I'm pretty sure Raef was thinking he was going to get tackled, like usual!)


Ok now second, I can not believe that my babies are so big! My little Bubba boy (Bryce) is going to be three in just six months! I can't believe it! It doesn't seem like he should be this old yet. He is such a good little helper and brother. He is always happy and hyper, and he is such a sweety. He loves to give hugs and kisses. I am so grateful for his sweet little spirit!




Next my little Raefers!! This little boy lights up my world. Everything about him, from his rosy cheeks to his stubby little toes, is perfect! He is such a good baby. Always happy, unless he's hungry,haha always talking and rolling over, and lately he has been sitting up! I can not believe he is already sitting up! I mean it seriously feels like yesterday I was crying about being pregnant still, and now he is almost six months old! I am so grateful for him in my life. Everyday he makes me smile!

Update

Oh my goodness this year has been a busy one! It seems like every time Rhett and I think we are going to have a weekend to relax, something comes up.

Rhett ...
has been working like crazy, Getting ready for their big Grand Reopening! We are super excited that his new schedule gives him some weekends off. We were definitely missing going to church together, and I was especially not looking forward to walking to church in the heat! He is really loving his new position and the new people he works with. He's made alot of new friends at work and they get together once a week and play basketball. He was also able to take a trip to California with some of his coworkers for store training. I am so proud of him for being such a hard worker. No matter where he works, he is successful. I love that about him.When he's not working he is busy playing with Bryce and Raef

and being my best friend!

He has been working on using the potty and is getting pretty good at it. We discovered that if we don't make a big deal about it, he does better. So we got the idea to let him go all by himself. We set up his stool, lifted the toilet seat, and left the light on. Then we told him if he had to go he didn't have to ask, he could just go all by himself, and it's working really well! It's so cute to see him stop playing and run in there all by himself and go potty! I'm so proud of him! He has also been taking trips to the library with me. He has a hard time choosing just a few books, so we usually leave with seven or eight, then once we get home he wants to sit down and read all of them at once! I can't complain though. I love that he enjoys it as much as I do! The library has become one of our families favorite places! I even got Rhett hooked when I told him they had more than just books!haha! We have also been working on him saying the prayers. He has always been good about folding his arms and being quiet, but now he says them to. Before he goes to bed Rhett will ask him what we have to do and Bryce will just kneel down and fold his arms. I love it.


He has just recently started to LOVE his guitar! When we play loud music he will run and get it and start rocking out! It's to cute!

Raef...

seems to be growing up so fast. He is going on six months old and moving around like crazy. He loves to roll around on the floor and play with his toys. He's already trying to get up on his knees and crawl, but is to wobbly still, good thing to because I am not ready for a crawling baby.



He is still just the happiest baby ever, always laughing and smiling. We started him on baby foods this last week and he loves them. He loves his vegetables, which is so much different than with Bryce.


He is such a fun little guy. We love him so much!



We also got to visit Larry and Molli for a weekend, which was so much fun! He was just recently restationed and didn't have to actually start working for a month, so they decided to come here and visit! We have missed them so much, but Aiden and Bryce played like they have known each other forever! Brandi and Michael were able to come out one of the nights we were there also, and little Madden played really well with them also. It's nice for Bryce to play with other kids his age. I'm pretty sure he gets sick of me sometimes!!
Little Allison is possibly the most adorable little girl ever! She has the lightest blue eyes and big smile! She made Rhett and I reconsider being done having kids!haha! Especially once she warmed up to Rhett. She would just put her arms up to him like they were best friends! It was so cute! I know that Larry is doing what is best for his family, and I am proud of him and how hard he is working. I just wish they didn't have to be so far away!! We have missed having all the family together like that! It was a great weekend!

Christmas, New Years, and other fun stuff!!

So The ending of 2010 and the begining of 2011 have been very fun!! We spent Christmas at my parents house, which was very fun! We also got to see our Aunt Shelly and Uncle Mike and enjoy thier amazing food!! Then for New Years Rhett had to work until eleven so when he got home we just toasted and set off a firework!! The boys had already crashed out!
2010 was an amazing year and I cant wait to spend another one with my boys!!

Imperfect perfection

So I dont want this post to come across as one of those fake "my life is perfect" posts but being Christmas I feel the need to express how lucky I am for everything I have, starting with my family. First off a mother and father who love me and my family and support us in everything we do. Who continue to teach me and my kids through example. Then to my four brothers, all hard working, temple worthy men. I am so thankful for them and thier willingness to be thier for me when I need them most. Then most importantly my husband. He is everything to me. I am so glad that I found a man that had a desire to take me to the temple and promise to love me and take care of me forever. A man that kneels down by our bed every night and prays for our family. A man that is hard working. He may not have always had the best job, or most "respected" jobs but he has always been willing to work to support us. He gave me my sons, who are perfect in my eyes. Yes they throw fits and make messes but thier mine. and I love everything about them. I love being able to stay home with them everyday and watch them grow. There is nothing else I would rather be doing.
I know that my life is not perfect, and never will be. We have struggles and problems just like everyone else, but everyday I find moments of perfection. Like when Bryce hugs me and says "lul you too mom". When Raef sighs in his sleep, so innocent, or smiles so big. When I get to see Rhett playing with his boys, wrestling around on the floor and throwing the football. When Rhett kisses me and tells me he loves me. Its momments like those that make me love life. That make me realize how lucky I am to be me, to have the life I do.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The last month. . .

This last month has flown by so fast! I can not believe my baby is already almost seven weeks old! It has taken some getting used to but I absolutely love having two little boys. Every day is like a new adventure! Bryce is growing up so fast, talking all the time and trying to go potty on the toilet! I just can't believe that he is so big! Raef is getting big also. He weighs about ten pounds, trying to hold his head up and just as spoiled as ever! Bryce was a cowboy for halloween, and a pretty sexy one at that!! He really liked being able to dress up and eat lots of candy!




Rhett has been working at Target for the last four months and loves it! He was employee of the month for September, got a plack and his picture up in his store, has already recieved a raise, and is up for a promotion! I am so glad that he has found a job that he loves and is finally being rewarded for his hard work! He deserves it!




As for me, I have just been trying to get used to having two babies to take care of, get back in shape,and get back in school! Exactly six weeks after Raef was born I ran one single mile (and not an inch more haha). It about killed me, pathetic I know, but I have to start somewhere right! I have been tryin to run at least a mile a day and have also loved being able to take the boys on walks. They both enjoy being outside alot!
I am just so thankful for everything that is mine! My amazing husband that loves me and treats me better than I probably deserve, my two perfect little boys and thier ability to put a smile on my face every single day, and the gospel most of all. It is the reason that I can call my family mine, and know that no matter what they will be mine for eternity! I can not explain the joy I feel knowing that they are mine forever! I feel so blessed. My life is everything I ever wanted and more.
