Our Family

So our Family began on October 27, 2007... after about three days of planning and preparing we got married. We've known eachother basically our whole lives, but i would have never guessed we would be married! As soon as we saw eachother again we knew we were in love. We dated (if you can even call it that) for one month and then we were married. It took Rhett about a week to pop the question and the rest is history. I can hoestly say I have never been more happy in my entire life, I have the most amazing man and he loves me every day no matter what.

Growing up to fast. . .

So Bryce had his first sleep over last night. I know it doesn't seem like such a big deal but for me it is! This was his second night ever being away from me in three and a half years. He was so excited to go stay at 'the kids' house, meaning the Yarns. We packed his bag and had to make sure we remembered his toothbrush and vitamins. Then he put his backpack on and headed out the door. Maybe it's because I'm pregnant, or maybe It's simply because I'm a mom, but I couldn't help feel emotional. He just looked so grown up! My mind couldn't help but to skip to school in two years and then sports and friends and cars. It all seems to be happening so fast...on top of me missing Bryce, poor Raef has been missig his buddy! He hasn't left my side in over twenty four hours, which is saying alot for him. It's like he doesn't know what to do without Bryce here to play with. We love our bubba boy. I am so proud to call that amazing little man mine. Having him gone, even if it is just a couple nights, makes me realize how much I need him in my life. He made me a mom.

Missed some of the boys. . .

Although most of the pictures look like this, Bryce grumpy and Raef being a ham, we still got some pretty good ones.

Family Pics

Yay I got our family pictures! Some of these don't have Rhett in them because he had to work.

Bryce was not a very happy boy!

The whole Yarn/Savage family! :)

All the grandkids so far...

I guess I need to catch up on this darn thing huh!! It's my goal this year to stay on top of our blog! With all our family being so spread out these days I feel like this is the best way to keep everyone up to date! So starting this year I'm going to start taking more pictures and actually doing something with those pictures!
Now I really wanted to wait to update until I had some recent pictures but the most recent pictures of our family were taken around Thanksgiving and I have yet to get any of them, so as soon as I can get my hands on those I can officially "update"!! But until then I'll just fill everyone in on whats going on with our family!

Rhett is still loving Target and working very hard for another promotion. As if that wasn't enough he is the most amazing father as well! I honestly don't know how he does it! We are so lucky to have him!
Bryce is just as sweet as ever! He has officially moved up to primary this year and he is loving it so far! After his first Sunday he came to us with a big excited face he says "Mom guess what? I am a child of God!" I am so excited to watch him learn more! He is also growing like a little weed! He has moved up two sizes in two months!! He is actually wearing a 3T now!! We can hardly keep up with him!
Raef is our little hand full. That boy can sniff out trouble anywhere and once he does there is no stopping him I swear! He just LOVES to get into our stuff! He is so curious about everything! He still refuses to say mama! When we ask him he just smiles and says dadda!
Charlotte is getting a big belly! Ha! Actually I feel like my stomach is smaller with this baby so far than either of the boys! I am coming up on 18 weeks and loving every minute of it! This time around has been so easy, plus we are SO excited for this new baby! We have an appointment January 25th to find out the sex and I can not wait!

It has been a busy couple of weeks, and it's only going to get worse!! With Halloween, a trip to the beautiful Idaho to visit family, then Thanksgiving, black Friday, and Christmas!! Holy smokes!! But I can't wait. We just celebrated the boys birthdays on the 24th of September, my birthday, and it was so much fun! We had lots of fun and the boys got some good presents! I can't believe that my boys are getting so big! I love watching them play and laugh together! They have become really good friends!

I couldn't find a recent picture of Raef without me in it and my camera is being difficult(hence no birthday pictures!) He is such a fun little guy and he is learning so much everyday! He is walking now and can say daddy and mommy! We love his little guy so much!

Bryce is so smart! He amazes me everyday with how much he knows! He is finally starting to gain a little weight and look like a "big boy"! He is such a special boy and we love him so much!

I am such a blessed woman, to have such amazing men in my life!

September 11, 2011

Today I am grateful for my family, my freedom, and my country. I am so grateful for the millions of men and women who still believe in America. Who serve everyday to protect our freedoms. I am thankful for the people willing to help in times of need. The selfless people who put others need before thier own, whether they are in the Military or not. It is such a comforting thing to listen to the many stories of 9 11 and realize that thier are still good people in the world. People who care about others, no matter thier race, sex, religious beliefs etc. I am grateful for past and present leaders in our country who devote thier lives to keeping this country free. I love this land I live in. I am a blessed women to have my family and friends and my beliefs. Today in church we sang The Star Spangled Banner and you could feel the pride in that building. Everyone rose to thier feet, kids stood on thier chairs, and we all sang. What a beautiful thing. The freedom of this country and my religion go hand in hand. How grateful am I to know that I will always be able to do the things I want. Today I pray that the families and friends of those lost in 9 11 know that the people of America are 'with' them today, our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
